No stranger to controversy, British comedian Russel Brand took advantage of his time on-stage at an award ceremony last week, to take a jab at the event's sponsor Hugo Boss, for making uniforms for the Nazis."If anyone knows a bit about history and fashion, you know it was Hugo Boss who made uniforms for the Nazis," he informed his audience, while accepting an award at GQ Magazine's Men of the Year Awards in London. He then ironically added: "But they looked f***ing fantastic, let’s face it, while they were killing people on the basis of their religion and sexuality."The British comedian was reportedly later thrown out of the after-show for his comments about the German company, which according to media reports, invested £250,000 in the event.Brand's performance drew a ruffled response from GQ's editor Dylan Jones, who according to the celebrity's version of events posted on Twittersphere, branded Brand's behavior as "very offensive to Hugo Boss.""What Hugo Boss did was very offensive to the Jews," Brand retorted.
