Even though Apple still doesn’t have an official Apple Retail Store in Israel, its product sales are on the rise thanks to the various authorized resellers. Amongst the most sold products are the iPhone, iPad, and the Apple Watch. Unfortunately, due to the lack of official retail stores, Apple’s products usually reach Israel’s market with a pronounced delay.

The original Apple Watch was launched in February 2016, almost 10 months after the global release. Other Apple products have suffered a similar fate. Fortunately, there are services that allow you to sell or trade in an Apple Watch if you want to upgrade to the newer version. After all, the Apple Watch is still the best selling smartwatch in the world. Why wouldn’t you want the newer version?

We’ve compiled a list of tips and tricks to make your life easier once you’ve traded in your old Apple Watch for a new one.

Switching Watch Faces

With the latest generation of Apple Watches, it’s never been easier to switch the watch face. In fact, you’ll find it as easy as switching between the screens of your iPhone. Simply swipe left or right to change the face of your watch. Naturally, each face comes with its unique features, meaning you can set up faces for various tasks in order to make them easier to follow. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that the swiping action should be performed from the edge of the screen, and not from the middle.

Editing Watch Faces

If you’re not satisfied with the existing watch faces, you can edit them as you please. In order to start the editing process, simply press your finger firmly on the watch display. This is known as a Force Touch and it brings up an array of options. Swipe through these options until you reach the Customize option and tap it. Browse through the features and select those that you like. If you’re uncomfortable using the small watch display to customize your watch faces, you can do this directly from your iPhone through the Watch app. Within the iPhone app, you can find the edit feature under the Watch Face Gallery tab.

Accessing The Control Center

Naturally, the Apple Watch also has a control center, similar to the one on the iPhone. Simply swipe up from the bottom of the watch screen and the control center will be displayed. This opens up several possibilities, such as accessing the airplane mode or the Do Not Disturb mode. Moreover, you can set your watch to vibrate if that’s your preference. Starting with the Series 2, the control center also allows you to active a hidden feature that ejects water from the watch.

There’s no doubt that the Apple Watch boasts a brilliant set of wallpapers. However, sometimes you just want to personalize it with your own photos. To do this, you’ll first need to have access to your iPhone. Your phone’s camera roll allows you to favorite photos that you have taken. Simply tapping the heart icon on your camera roll photos is enough to have them synchronized between your phone and your watch. Remember the Force Touch? Use it again to access the Photo Album on your watch. From there, simply select, edit, and set your photo as a wallpaper.
