Lebanon plans to file a lawsuit against Israel over its alleged spying activities, Iran's Press TV quoted Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour as saying on Sunday.“Lebanon is conducting serious investigations regarding the blatant Israeli violations of our sovereignty," Mansour told Press TV.Mansour accuses Israel of stationing "very sophisticated espionage devices" that enable it to "tap into both wired and wireless communication networks."The Lebanese foreign minister said lawmakers in his country are planning to draft a complaint against Israel to the UN Security Council for breaking international norms.According to Press TV, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said on Wednesday that Israel installed "spying stations" along its border with Lebanon “starting from al-Naqoura passing by Khiyam all the way to Shebaa,” with the largest station allegedly deployed in the al-Abbad and Jal al-Alam areas.Press TV quoted Lebanese Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn as saying on Thursday that Beirut “will not remain idle and it is following up on the spying issue on the highest levels.”Lebanon's army is reportedly in contact with UNIFIL to investigate the matter.“Information about the Israeli enemy setting up spying devices on the southern border is more proof of the enemy’s ongoing plan to transform Lebanon into an easy morsel while we are busy with internal disputes,” Ghosn was quoted as saying.
