Air India is set to resume its direct flights between New Delhi and Tel Aviv starting March 2, 2025, after a suspension that began in August last year. The decision marks a step in restoring connectivity between the two nations and is in response to the growing demand for seamless travel between these bustling hubs, according to The Indian Express.

The airline will deploy its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft on the route, offering passengers a travel experience. The Dreamliner features 18 flat-bed seats in Business Class and 238 seats in Economy Class, ensuring a comfortable journey for all travelers.

Air India announced that it will operate five weekly non-stop flights from New Delhi to Tel Aviv on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

"The non-stop connectivity eliminates the need for layovers, significantly reducing travel time," noted Travel And Tour World. Passengers can look forward to Air India's hospitality on this route, reinforcing the airline's emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Tel Aviv has become an increasingly popular destination for Indian travelers, especially within the business and startup ecosystems. Known as a global hub for innovation and technology, Tel Aviv attracts a mix of travelers, from entrepreneurs and investors to history enthusiasts and beachgoers. The availability of direct flights is expected to foster greater people-to-people connections between India and Israel, as mentioned by Travel And Tour World.

Delhi serves as a gateway to India, offering Israeli tourists access to the country's cultural heritage, landmarks, and economic opportunities. Direct flights will enhance cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the two nations, reinforcing the deepening ties.

Air India's re-entry into the Delhi-Tel Aviv market is expected to intensify competition among carriers operating between India and Israel. Other airlines may enhance their offerings to attract passengers in response to Air India's service, as suggested by Travel And Tour World.

"We are continuously monitoring the situation and are extending support to our passengers with confirmed bookings for travel to and from Tel Aviv during this period, with a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation charges," Air India stated in the official announcement, according to The Indian Express.
