The Israel Air Force struck a building west of Gaza City, Palestinian media reported on Tuesday, killing two Palestinians and wounding 20 others. The multiple-story building housed dozens of apartments, a shopping center and offices. Eyewitnesses said F-16s struck the area after two warning missiles were fired by drones. The 13-story structure had been evacuated earlier, as residents adhered to IDF warnings. Following the explosions that rattled the city, Gazans from neighboring buildings were clearing the area, as the high-rise caught fire and began to collapse. The IDF has yet to confirm the reports, but the IDF spokesperson released a statement saying overnight Tuesday, it attacked more than 15 terror sites in Gaza including Hamas command centers. The buildings attacked included apartments used for planning terror activity and an apartment used for the manufacturing of weapons, the IDF said. The incident comes two days after the IAF destroyed a 13-story building in Gaza City.Additional air strikes were reported throughout the Gaza Strip before dawn on Tuesday, including on homes in Gaza City, causing multiple injuries. The attacks follow a day which saw more than 120 rockets land in Israeli towns and cities, and the IDF pound more than 70 targets in Gaza.
