Mellanox TechnologiesAbout a week after Mellanox Technologies released its financial statement, which shows that the company’s shares are at an all-time high, the company held its annual international sales conference last week at booth #10 at Expo Tel Aviv.Mellanox CEO and founder Eyal Waldman decided to hold the event in Israel in an effort to bolster the local economy and its tourism industry by supporting local businesses. The cost of producing the conference was over NIS 5.5 million. The weeklong conference included lots of events and trips all over the country. The huge NVIDIA-Mellanox deal has not yet received approval from the Chinese regulator, partly due to the trade war between China and the US, as well as the coronavirus outbreak. Waldman sent a special heartfelt greeting to Mellanox employees in China who could not travel to Israel for the conference.Translated by Hannah Hochner.
