The BSL announced on Wednesday that it will experiment with the use of instant replays starting from Week 4 of the season.
Referees will be allowed to review video to determine if a shot was released prior to the buzzer and to decide if a foul was committed before or after time has expired.
Initially, the experiment will only take place in the main game of each week as those games are the only ones which are currently covered with six cameras.
In other BSL news, Bnei Hasharon named Ariel Beit-Halahmi as Moshe Weinkrantz's replacement on Wednesday. Beit-Halahmi, who was sacked by Ironi Nahariya midway through last season, is also the coach of Israel's Under-20 team.
