Israel's table tennis team will face France for the bronze medal in the Beijing Paralympics on Tuesday.
Ze'ev Glikman and Shmuel Shur lost 3-0 to China in the semis on Sunday after defeating Belgium 3-1 in the quarterfinals earlier in the day.
The 50-year-old Glikman, who won the gold medal in the singles tournament in the 1992 Barcelona Paralympics as well as a bronze in Sydney, claimed both of his singles matches against Belgium and together with Shur, 48, clinched the tie with a victory in the doubles match.
In the first match against the Chinese, Glikman managed to push Gang Chen to a fifth game, but lost the decider 11-5 and the hosts quickly booked their place with a whitewash victory.
