He also called on Hezbollah “to cease its missile launches to Israel. We urge all of those who provide them with the means to do so, to stop doing so.”

The Israeli government resented France's reprimanding position and was disappointed that France failed to exert influence on Hezbollah.
Macron reaffirmed his unconditional support for France's Jewish community and emphasized the importance of resolving the Israel-Hamas conflict, including the safe return of the remaining hostages.
