Italy's defense minister emphasizes the need to strengthen the UN peacekeeping mission in Lebanon amid rising tensions with Hezbollah and Israel.

Witnesses told Reuters that after Israel struck the Lebanese capital, a blast was heard, and a plume of smoke could be seen.

"I want to make it clear: we will continue to hit Hezbollah mercilessly in all parts of Lebanon - also in Beirut," Netanyahu stated.

The findings reportedly identified Hezbollah's main source of income as coming from the Lebanese banking institution Al-Qard al-Hasan.

Safa "was seriously injured and is in critical condition," the sources claimed.

Two people were reportedly killed and nine wounded in the airstrike.

Deputy editor-in-chief and war correspondent of Bild, Paul Ronzheimer, was arrested in Lebanon's capital, Beirut, the day after Israel killed Hezbollah leader Nasrallah.

The Dahiyeh neighborhood in Beirut has been the site of several notable IDF strikes, including the strike that killed Hezbollah's former secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah.

The report noted that an individual carrying both Israeli and British passports was arrested on Tuesday. When he was searched, his Israeli passport was discovered.

“I want the Lebanese to think, believe, and understand that if there's no solution to the problem in southern Lebanon, we will conquer all of Lebanon," Professor Amatzia Baram said.
