Ramaswamy has stoked grassroots chatter as a potential alternative to former President Donald Trump, whom he fervently supports.
"It's an apocalyptic scene. I am speechless," Mayor Luigi Brugnaro posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"We received with a heavy heart the news that a resident of our city was killed in a tragic accident," Ashkelon mayor said in a statement.
The accident occurred due to a collision between a car and a tour vehicle in the city's Alanya district.
