26 people died in the last swimming season. However, the Knesset revealed that this season, 21 people have died from drowning so far this season. Are 'unofficial' beaches to blame?
The number of children’s deaths from all kinds of accidents in Israel is 30% higher during the summer months compared to during the rest of the year, and 45% of those occur inside the home or nearby.
The majority of drownings off beaches occur either on officially recognized beaches when lifeguards are not on duty, or on beaches where swimming is prohibited.
Two people were confirmed dead ,while four people almost died and are in serious to critical condition after they almost drowned in the sea on Saturday morning.
Visiting from abroad, the deceased was not identified at the time reports were released.
The collaboration followed reports of Russian oligarchs in the area taking part in transferring Iranian-manufactured UAVs to Moscow.
