This year’s event, which begins Sunday and coincides with Israel’s Memorial and Independence Days, will focus on celebrating 75 years of partnership between US and Israel.

“We urged all the leaders we spoke with to work with President Herzog to negotiate a solution that could have broad support across Israeli society,” they said
They wrote in an open letter urging that "a 61-seat Knesset majority should not be allowed to override Supreme Court decisions."
They also advocated the committees to fund programs that would fight antisemitism and hate crimes, care for Holocaust survivors and other vulnerable populations.

The tone of the debate surrounding Israeli politics is part of the problem, Jewish Federations of North America (JNFA) Julie Platt said.
