Russian military aircraft were damaged and civilian aviation was disrupted in the drone attacks, said Russian officials.
Authorities have reported more than a dozen attempted drone attacks on Moscow within the past month, a number of which have forced temporary airport closures.
Kyiv did not provide details of the Russian regrouping but said the forces continued heavy artillery and mortar shelling and air assaults.
Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service director, Sergey Naryshkin stated that “no beast on Earth” will be able to dismantle the growing multipolar international structure.
Ukraine rarely admits to being behind drone attacks inside Russian territory, but such strikes have increased significantly in recent months.
At least two people were injured on Monday when parts of a Ukrainian drone destroyed by Russian air defenses fell on a house in the Moscow region, the regional governor said.
Missile debris also damaged the roof of a house and fell on a complex of country homes in the capital's northern Obolon district.
