Police and crisis centers show differing patterns in sex offense complaints, highlighting reporting gaps in Israel.

Israel's rape crisis centers report 81% of sex offense cases closed without indictment in 2023, with most victims being minors attacked by people they knew.

The Israel Women's Network called on the state prosecutor to take the case very seriously and act as seriously as possible against the "youth who connected on multiple occasions to rape a minor."
