Since the start of the activities in Shifa, over 170 terrorists have been killed, and around 500 terrorists associated with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have been arrested.
Hamas weapons were found by forces from Sayeret Nahal in the MRI complex and maternity ward at Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza.
Shortly after midnight on Monday, Hamas admitted on its Telegram channel that it had fired mortar shells at IDF troops in the vicinity of Shifa Hospital.
By Sunday night, an IDF spokesperson acknowledged that operations were underway to take over the hospitals.
Israeli armored forces sealed off Al-Amal Hospital and carried out extensive bulldozing operations in its vicinity, the Red Crescent said in a statement.
Along with the dedicated medical area, the IDF has brought in medical equipment and on-site medical teams to monitor the well-being of the evacuated Gazans.
The Shifa Hospital operation began on Monday, and since, more than 170 terrorists in the hospital and surrounding area were eliminated, including senior Hamas officials.
