Last year, the Sweden Democrats became the second-largest party in parliament, supporting the governing coalition - and they want to befriend Israel.
The pledges were made at the Malmö International Forum on Holocaust Remembrance and Combating Antisemitism in October 2021
Turkey is currently blocking Sweden from joining NATO for housing Kurdish groups and the block will likely continue after this incident.
