"We are prepared to address the security needs of the State of Israel both defensively and offensively," the Prime Minister added.
The operation was a combination of ground troops, support from aircraft, and heavy fire from naval units.
Additional launches were detected toward IDF soldiers in the Shejaiya area of the northern Gaza Strip. No soldiers were reported injured, and the launchers were destroyed.
The IDF said it "continues to train vigorously to maintain complete readiness for all threats and attempts by the enemy to harm the citizens of Israel or its territory."

According to the IDF, Hassin, a senior operative of the Lebanon-based terror organization, held a rank equivalent to that of a brigade commander.

The plane, named Oron, quickly became operational during Israel’s war on Hamas and has already carried out hundreds of operational flight hours and almost 100 sorties.
Amid the firefights, IDF troops evacuated civilians, patients, and medical teams to alternative medical facilities that the IDF set up in the area to enable proper medical treatment to continue.
