Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opted not to send a delegation without consulting with war cabinet ministers Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot.

The ambassador stressed that residency permits would only be for legal and humanitarian purposes, adding that those who arrived since the war began on October 7 had no plans to settle in Egypt.

The team used strategic transportation tactics to provide civilians with aid that included ready-to-eat family food kits, beans, rice, flour, hygiene essentials, and other basic necessities. 

Reports from Gaza state that 30 Palestinians were killed on Monday in IDF strikes on the city in midst of tensions regarding upcoming operation on the city.

In Cairo, Bahrain and Egypt discussed the desire for calm in Gaza and putting an end to “ongoing regional tension.” The two sides agreed on the urgent need to exert efforts towards de-escalations.

Hamas "continues to exploit tensions with Iran and seeks... escalation in the region," the PMO stated.

Hamas reiterated their demands including a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, a return of the displaced, and a prisoner-hostage exchange.

The protesters were charged with spreading false information and joining a terror group.
