Tzvika Levy, recipient of the Israel Prize, passed away at 70
By MAARIV ONLINETzivka Levy, recipient of the Israel Prize for Life Achievement, passed away at the age of 70 on Saturday, after being diagnosed with ALS in 2016.Levy, also known as "father of the lone soldiers," received the Israel Prize for Life Achievement in 2017 after a life of giving for soldiers without means and bereaved families."A good, benevolent and kind man, has passed away after battling ALS," Eyal Betzer, head of the Jezreel Valley Regional Council, eulogized.
