Three Israeli civilians have been shot and injured in two separate Palestinian shooting attacks in the Hebron region on Friday evening.The first shooting took place near the Cave of the Patriarchs site, where two civilians were wounded.Both civilians were evacuated by paramedics to hospital. Magen David Adom paramedics said they evacuated one seriously injured 16-year-old youth with bullet wounds to his upper body and a lightly inured 18-year-old who sustained a gunshot wound to his limbs. Both have been taken to the Sha'arei Tzedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for emergency care.IDF units have launched a search of the area.Judea and Samaria police said they put their forces on special alert with reinforcements in Hebron on behalf of the Haya Sara celebrations, which brought crowds to the Tomb of the Patriarchs on Friday.Less than two hours later, an Israeli was seriously injured after a Palestinian gunman opened fire on him near Beit Anoun, a few kilometers north of Hebron. Magen David Adom paramedics evacuated a 19-year-old man in serious condition to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem, suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body.IDF units launched a search of the area.Ben Hartman contributed to this report.
