Every now and then, my spouse and I strive to do things for the greater good. As one enhances others and induces them to perform commandments, their good deeds also accrue to their merit. Aside from the joy of giving and helping others, we also benefit from the merits of those who improve because of us, which remains preserved for us forever. For example, during the coronavirus period, we had ample time, so I designed inspiring phrases beautifully and printed them on magnets, placed them in a pretty bag, and distributed them to everyone we could.

Another time, we purchased many inspiring books, books of ethics that I personally love to read, and we distributed them in numerous places.

Not long ago, I discovered the organization "Lashon Hara Lo Medaber Elai" (Lashon Hara Doesn't Speak to Me) - An association working to strengthen a culture of positive dialogue in Israel and promote values of tolerance and mutual respect by raising awareness of the harm caused by gossiping and shaming. The initiative was founded in 2007 by businessman David Halperin, and through it, the message was disseminated via giant street signs across the country, distribution of millions of stickers and bracelets, visits and distribution of products in hospitals and military bases, and production of art exhibitions. In a short time, the message became a common currency in many mouths, transcending sectors and cultures. The purpose of the campaign is a daily reminder of the damages caused by gossip, raising awareness of the power of words, and a moral statement of those spreading the message regarding their commitment to combat the phenomenon.

When I discovered the "Lashon Hara" organization and its important initiative, I noticed that they have a shop with many products available for purchase for distribution (and for me, for the benefit of the public). They have keychains, bracelets, and a variety of products that can be bought and distributed at very affordable prices.

In the past, I bought keychains and bracelets from them and distributed them in children's schools. Recently, we bought pens because who doesn't need a pen? NIS 2 per pen - distributing joyfully to anyone who wants, and also reaping the immense reward of benefiting the public.

I recommend everyone to adopt the idea of benefiting the public - with a small amount of money, you gain immense profit in the eternal world.

Well done, David - I have somewhere to aspire to and want to reach with an organization like yours. I envy your rights.
