Mozzarella garlic rugelach with malawach

Thaw the malawach, slice it, roll it with mozzarella, add some garlic-flavored oil, and pop it in the oven.

This unique recipe is perfect for a family activity, and you can even make it with the kids. The thawed malawach is sliced into pizza-like triangles, rolled, and baked. Feel free to add your own creative twists and toppings.

Ingredients:

1 package thawed malawach

Garlic oil spray

300 grams grated mozzarella

Sesame seeds

Instructions:

1. Spray the malawach with garlic oil and cut into even triangles, like a pizza.

2. Place a heaping teaspoon of mozzarella on the wide end of each triangle and roll it into a small rugelach shape.

3. Repeat with the remaining malawach.

4. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. Spray a little more garlic oil and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

6. Bake for about 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F).
