Let's talk for a moment about the biggest nightmare of every tired person - coming home after a busy day of work and finding out that now you have to... oh no... cook! You know it, right? Especially if you have children circling around you like hungry sharks. And what do you all want? Just plopping down on the sofa with something delicious, without turning the kitchen into a battlefield.

Osem, the company that always knows how to make us smile (who here doesn't love flakes?), brought us the ultimate solution - Perfecto sauces. But wait, we can already hear you saying: "Another sauce is ready? It must be full of junk!". Well, surprise! You won't find a red sticker on any of these jars. No saturated fat, no sodium, and no sugar.

Surprised? Tali Gochman, a food technologist at Osem-Nestle, is part of the team of minds behind Osem's products. She says: "We thought of all the tired parents or spouses who want to feed the family without spending hours in the kitchen, so we created sauces that are just like the ones you would make at home, only without all the mess."

So what do we have on the menu? Five tomato-based pasta sauces in classic flavors, basil, peppers, pizza and bolognese, with which you can easily upgrade any dish in the kitchen. Using these sauces, you can easily and quickly upgrade any dish - starting with shakshuka, bolognaise or even a great homemade pizza.

But wait, that's not all, Gochman tells us a little secret: "If you think this is an industrial sauce, think again. The truth is that we make these sauces just like you would make them at home. We fry onions, mix tomatoes, add spices - everything Just like grandma, only in huge pots, with a high level of precision and a perfect balance of flavors."

And now, let's talk about that scary word, "health." Because let's face it, when we hear "prepared food", we're a little put off, aren't we? But here comes the cool part - Osem decided to play the "clean label" game. It's kind of like playing "Where's Effie?", only instead of finding a little figure with stripes, we're looking for components we don't know. Spoiler: You won't find!

Gochman explains: "We decided that if we can't say the name of the ingredient without getting confused, it doesn't go into the sauce. Simple and easy."

But what about the taste?

After all, we all know the dilemma - either tasty, or healthy, right? Well, here comes the most worthwhile part of the story, Osem managed to do what until recently was considered impossible. They lowered the amounts of sugar and sodium, but still kept deep flavors. "It's definitely challenging to reduce the amounts of sugar and sodium on the one hand, and preserve the taste on the other," says Gochman. To meet the task, Assem operates a sensory laboratory that conducts taste tests throughout development. This is how Esem learns what tastes good and what doesn't, and sometimes taste tests are carried out with the help of external companies for a wider audience.

Gochman also has some tips for upgrading the sauces that will make your dish jump even more. "Listen," she says, "you can really go crazy with these sauces! Make a lasagna with the classic tomato sauce, add eggplant, or turn the tomato sauce into a rosé with a little cream." It's like playing Lego or putting together a puzzle, only you can eat the result.

The next time you come home exhausted and hungry, remember - Perfecto sauces are like a good friend waiting for you in the kitchen. They are delicious, healthy, and ready to go in 5 minutes. That's about the time it will take you to change your clothes and turn on the TV.
