Some 9000 households in Israel were without power on Wednesday evening due to the storm raging in much of the country. The outages were mainly in the Sharon and Tel Aviv areas, including in Netanya, Herzliya, and Rishon Lezion. The Israel Electric Corporation said the average customer response time was between three and four hours.
