Coronavirus in Israel: 517 new cases, 125 in serious condition

Some 517 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Israel on Friday, with 125 patients in serious condition, according to a Saturday evening update by the Health Ministry.

0.66% of 78,985 tests returned positive.

Of those infected, 72 were on ventilators. The death toll stood at 8,182.

4,068,713 Israelis had received the third dose of the coronavirus vaccine as of Saturday evening.
