MK Akram Hasson (Kulanu) was sworn in to the Knesset Monday. Hasson replaced Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon in the legislature; Kahlon will retain his ministerial portfolio. Kahlon resigned from the Knesset following the Mini-Norwegian Law, by which one minister or deputy minister from every party may resign from the legislature in order to let in a new MK, but if that minister or deputy minister is fired or resigns from the cabinet, he or she can return to the Knesset and the new lawmaker must leave.
