A rocket alert drill will take place in the Gaza border communitites Monday morning, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said Sunday.
The drill will reportedly take place between 9:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Israel time, with alarms sounding in 45-minute waves. In case of rocket fire, a second alarm will be sounded.
The drill is a joint exercise of the IDF and the Home Front Command designed to "examine the propriety of the emergency alert system in the region," the IDF said,
