Benda Magnetic, the official importer of DJI in Israel, is launching three new drones designed to provide a solution for different types of pilots, from professional content creators to users taking their first steps in the field. The move includes the launch of the Avata 360, a model intended for FPV (first-person view) flights that for the first time enables HDR video shooting in 360 degrees and at 8K resolution. The drone is equipped with two interchangeable lenses with sensors equivalent to a 1-inch size, giving users the ability to capture the full environment in a single flight and choose the desired shooting angle at the editing stage after landing. Alongside this model, the launch includes additional camera drones defined as more accessible, with the aim of expanding the circle of pilots and appealing to an audience seeking operational simplicity.

The main innovation in the Avata 360 lies in the ability to combine a dynamic flight experience with high image quality, thanks to sensors with large pixels and a wide dynamic range. The drone uses DJI’s O4 Plus video transmission system, which enables stable live transmission in 1080p, and includes omnidirectional obstacle sensors capable of operating even in night conditions. In order to ease use for new users, the system includes Easy Acro mode, which allows performing aerial maneuvers such as rolls and flips at the press of a single button, without requiring complex manual control.

In addition, the drone offers smart editing options through dedicated applications, such as locking onto moving objects and using a virtual gimbal to rotate the camera in editing. From a maintenance perspective, the drone was designed with built-in propeller guards and the ability to independently replace the lens element in case of damage.

The device includes 42GB of internal storage and support for WiFi 6 for fast file transfer. Prices in Israel range between NIS 3,499 for the basic Avata 360 model and up to NIS 4,699 for the more equipped packages that include goggles and motion controllers. Alongside the drones, the importer offers the Benda Care service, which provides coverage for accidental damage and repairs in a fast process, with the aim of giving users additional confidence during flight. The supply of the new models is expected to begin on May 7.
