Rights activists say at least four homosexuals attacked after appearing in list published by 'Rolling Stone' paper that included photos.

A Ugandan newspaper has publicly outed the "top" gay and lesbians in the country in a recently published list.Earlier in the month, The Rolling Stone newspaper (no affiliation with the famous US magazine), list featured 100 photos of gays and lesbians throughout the country and next to the list was a a yellow strip with the words "Hang Them" written on it.RELATED:Opinion: The Jewish view of homosexualityUS military recruiters told to accept gay applicantsThe Rolling Stone is a fairly new publication under the management of Giles Muhame, a Ugandan journalist. Rights activists say that at least four homosexuals have been attacked since a Ugandan newspaper published the article in question.The homophobic incident in Africa comes around the same time that Republican Senate candidate Ken Buck compared homosexuality to alcoholism, during an interview on NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday.When asked to clarify his position on the US army's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, the Colorado candidate stated his opinion that being gay is a choice, though genetics may have some "influence.""I guess you can choose who your partner is... I think I think that birth has an influence over it, like alcoholism and some other things, but I think that basically, you have a choice," he told NBC's David Gregory.
