Two Hezbollah commanders in coastal sector eliminated by IDF

Mousa Izz al-Din was the commander of Hezbollah’s forces in the coastal sector, and Majid Daib was the terrorist organization's artillery commander in the same sector.

The IDF eliminated two Hezbollah coastal commanders on Friday who were responsible for firing over 400 projectiles into Israeli territory throughout the last month.

The IDF made the announcement of two terrorists' deaths on Saturday morning, Mousa Izz al-Din and Hassan Majid Daib. Al-Din was the commander of Hezbollah’s forces in the coastal sector, and Daib was the terrorist organization's artillery commander in the same sector. The latter was responsible for Thursday's projectile fire towards Haifa Bay.

Friday also saw the IAF striking up to more than 120 terror targets against Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Hezbollah in Lebanon, with targets struck in the latter location including further infrastructure used by them, facilities that stored weapons, and anti-tank missile launching sites.

Meanwhile, on the ground in southern Lebanon, the IDF stated that soldiers have been continuing to conduct limited and targeted raids against Hezbollah targets while locating weapons belonging to the terrorist organization.

Factory north of Nahariya damaged by Hezbollah rocket, three UAVs towards Eilat intercepted

The IDF issued a statement later that it had destroyed a projectile launcher in Lebanon that was used to launch three drones into central Israel that morning.

At least one drone was intercepted and several crashes were detected, with damage being reported at a factory in Achziv north of Nahariya, Army Radio reported.

This was reported as at least three drones were fired by Hezbollah on Saturday morning, with rocket and drone intrusions sirens sounding between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Hezbollah then said it was targeting Israel's Palmachim Airbase with drones in Tel Aviv, Al-Arabiya reported.

Later, a rocket fell in an open area between the Arab cities of Shefa-Amr and I'billin in Israel's Northern District.

A little more than two hours later, the IDF announced that three UAVs were launched towards the Eilat area were intercepted over the Red Sea and did not enter Israeli territory. Iranian-backed militias in Iraq took responsibility for the UAVs towards the southern Israeli city, Maariv reported citing Sky News Arabic.

The IDF also said that between 1:57 and 1:59 p.m., 30 UAVs were launched into Israel, to which most of them had been shot down and others fell in open areas.

Multiple locations struck after rocket, drone sirens blare in North

Projectiles crashed in northern Israel on Saturday afternoon during a barrage that triggered sirens in numerous localities in the coastal region, including the city of Nahariya.

According to Israeli state broadcaster KAN, some 35 projectiles targeted the city.

Following the alerts, Israel's emergency medical response service, Magen David Adom, reported that response teams searched several sites where crashes were reported in the Upper Galilee region. No injuries have thus far been reported, MDA noted.

The IDF later reported that it had identified "a number of suspicious aerial targets that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory."

Informed sources from the Hamas terrorist organization have admitted the death of Mohammed Deif, one of their highest military commanders, to the Arabic newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat on Friday.

Deif was head of Hamas's military wing, the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades.

IDF captures senior Hezbollah official in northern Lebanon, Arab media claims - report

The terrorist captured is named Emad Fadel Amhz, a senior member of Hezbollah, according to Al-Hadath. Reports also state that he is part of the Lebanese Navy.

Israeli naval forces have reportedly landed in the coastal city of Batroun in northern Lebanon and captured a Hezbollah operative overnight between Friday and Saturday, Hebrew media reported the following afternoon citing Hezbollah-affiliated Arab media.

The terrorist captured is named Emad Fadel Amhz, a senior member of Hezbollah, according to Al-Hadath. Reports also state that he is part of the Lebanese Navy.

Israeli retaliatory attack on Islamic Republic severely damaged air defenses, missile program - WSJ

Missile production facilities and air defenses of the Islamic Republic of Iran were severely damaged in Israel's retaliatory strike last month, the Wall Street Journal cited US and Israeli officials saying on Saturday.

Satellite photos have shown the damage done to the Parchin military site near Tehran and the IRGC-run Shahroud ballistic missile and space center, as well as damaging Russian-made S-300 missile defense systems.

US to deploy B-52s, warships to Middle East as aircraft carrier departs

The Pentagon said in a statement that deployments would take place in the coming months and demonstrated the flexibility of the US military movements around the world.
