Who will strike and what services will be affected?
Barring last-minute decision by National Labor Court, a general strike is expected after breakdown in talks between Treasury, Histadrut.

A general strike will begin Monday 6:00 a.m., barring a last-minute decision by the National Labor Court.The Histadrut labor federation declared the strike after the Finance Ministry did not satisfy its demands on the issue of contract workers. The Histadrut is calling for cleaning, security and maintenance staff servicing the public sector to be moved to permanent employment.RELATED:Netanyahu calls on Histadrut to cancel scheduled strikeEini: Only a Labor Court injunction can prevent strikeThe following is a list of workplaces participating in the strike:GovernmentStaff at all government ministries and state offices will strike. Staff at all local municipalities will strike, but rescue and emergency services will continue to operate.HealthState-run, municipality-run and Hadassah Ein-Kerem and Shaare Zedek hospitals will operate according to Shabbat timetables. Clalit, the largest of the four health services providers, will run hospital services according to a Shabbat timetable, and its medical clinics will go on strike. Magen David Adom will continue to respond to emergencies.EducationThe following institutes of higher learning will strike: Tel Aviv University, the Hebrew University, Ben-Gurion University, Bar-Ilan University, University of Haifa, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Open University, Weizmann Institute of Science, College of Management, Kibbutzim College of Education, Seminar Hakibbutzim. Strikes will also take place at the Ort and Namal networks of schools, and at boarding and agricultural schools.
TransportationThe Airports Authority and the Seaports Company will go on strike, stopping work at Ben-Gurion International Airport and at Haifa, Eilat and Ashdod seaports. Israel Railways and the Egged and Dan bus companies will all strike. The strike at Ben-Gurion Airport will begin at 8 a.m., not at 6 a.m.EnergyStaff at the National Coal Supply Corporation and the Water Authority will strike. The Israel Electric Company, Oil Refineries and Mekorot national water company will operate according to Shabbat timetables.CultureThe Israel Museum, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Beit Hatfutsot – The Museum of the Jewish People, Education Television (Channel 23) and the Habimah, Cameri and Beit Lessin theaters will all strike.BanksStaff at the following banks will strike: Leumi, Hapoalim, Benleumi, Mizrahi-Tefahot, Discount Mortgage, Igud, Mercantile, Discount, Mahesh, Yahav, Massad, Idud, Arab Israel, Makhish, Otsar Hahayal.OthersStaff will also strike at the following institutions: Israel Postal Company, Tel Aviv Securities Exchange, Mifal Hapayis national lottery, Jewish Agency, Jewish National Fund, United Israel Appeal, Amidar and Halamish housing companies. Staff from the State Attorney¹s Office will not appear at hearings, but will respond to urgent matters.
