Cooking with JPost: It's kebab time!
Your kebabs are just minutes away with with Chef Yochanan's simple step-by-step guide below:
What You will Need:
 500g ground beef and lamb (250g of each)
1 large tsp ground cinnamon 
1 tbsp mixed spices
1 large tsp sumac
1 large tsp salt
1 large tsp ground pepper
5 cloves of finely chopped garlic
Fresh chopped parsley
Olive oil
Skewer sticks
STEP 1: Pour all ingredients into large bowl.
STEP 2: Use your hands and mix all ingredients together. 
 
 
STEP 3
: Roll mixture into sausage shape and place onto stick. Mould around the stick. 
 
STEP 4: Place onto hot grill or in oven at 250 degrees celsius for 10-15 minutes.
 
STEP 5: Remove koftas and put into sandwich or enjoy with a simple Israeli salad on the side.
