This week, host Eve Young, economics correspondent for The Jerusalem Post, interviews Ofer Shalev, CEO and co-founder of a startup that is using nanotechnology to prolong the life of stage-four metastatic cancer patients without adverse effects to their health.

Ofer will explain how the fact that cancer cells are more sensitive to heat than healthy cells enables New Phase to use electromagnetic hyperthermia technology to target tumors.

He will also share the story of how he and co-founder Dr. Rafi Hof started the company, inspired by Rafi's mother Sarah's battle with cancer and tell us about the company's nanotechnology, Sarah Nanoparticles - which are named after her.

He will also touch on the importance of the diversity, both of personal and professional backgrounds, of his company's employees, and how it makes their work better.
