One person died in Mexico amid reports of flash flooding in the peninsula, where some roads were swept away.
It was estimated that at least 225 people lived in the hamlet, the state's deputy chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis, told the state assembly.
High temperatures and dust and haze coming from the south are expected throughout the day.
Eight bodies had been retrieved from various locations, according to Italian politicians.
"Everyone is talking about democracy, but we must react to the climate change crisis," said Professor Hadas Saaroni.
MDA CEO Eli Ben said: "The [MDA] teams are prepared to provide medical treatment to any [person in need] even in complex weather conditions."
