In the counterterrorism operation, 10 terrorists were killed in total, 20 wanted persons were apprehended, and additional weapons were confiscated.

Over ten terrorists were killed, and about 20 wanted terrorists were arrested, along with countless weapons and combat equipment getting confiscated.

Further details in the indictment state that during a visit to Jenin, the suspect was in illegal possession of an M-16 assault rifle and a handgun.

The terrorists carried out the shooting attack earlier in January at a passing bus and vehicles, which killed three people.

He suggested various ways in which the combat tactics from the Gaza Strip could be implemented in the northern West Bank. 

"On the directive of the Security Cabinet, the IDF, the ISA, and the Israel Police have today begun a...military operation to defeat terrorism in Jenin," Netanyahu said.

The objective of Operation Iron Wall is clear: to severely disrupt the capabilities of terrorist organizations in Jenin and northern Samaria. 

Palestinian Authority security forces exited the area following a month-long operation of its own against local Palestinian terror groups.

During the operation, the IDF apprehended approximately 50 wanted individuals.

Two terrorists were arrested in the joint operation; both were from the northern West Bank town of Kabatiya, near Jenin.
