A 20-year annual tradition of Opera in the Park reached a high point, with this year’s deeply performance of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly.

As the viewers repeated key lines and laughed when certain characters appeared, the vibe was reminiscent of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Weiss and Barnea are eager to represent this rich, highly Catholic, Latin text in a blazing new manner.
