Biga, a premium café chain known for its high-quality cuisine and nutritious offerings, has partnered with Tnuva to launch a new high-protein menu featuring 'GO' Tnuva products. This menu, designed for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and individuals maintaining a healthy lifestyle, includes a variety of healthy, nourishing bowls.
The new menu, created under the guidance of Biga’s executive chef Itai Spiegel in collaboration with nutrition experts from Tnuva’s GO brand, will be available in all 35 Biga locations across Israel starting this week. It will be offered as a separate special menu, distinct from the regular offerings.
The menu, named BIGA Bowls, consists of protein-rich bowls full of nutritional value, following the culinary trend of serving 'deconstructed meals' in bowls, where customers mix the ingredients themselves.
Yair Malka, CEO of Biga, stated, "Over the past year, we’ve seen significant growth in the number of consumers, especially athletes, seeking protein-enriched solutions that naturally fit into their dietary routines. As a result, we are witnessing rapid growth across all protein categories in food products, not just in dedicated protein items. Protein has truly become a key growth driver in the food market, and we are excited to partner with Tnuva’s GO brand, which leads the protein category.” Malcha added, "The idea behind this new menu is to offer protein consumers delicious, experiential, and unique protein-rich dishes. With this menu launch, we aim to raise awareness among the general public about proper nutrition and a healthier lifestyle."
Tami Aschheim, Tnuva’s VP of Professional Market Development, said, "We are proud of our collaboration with Biga, which will allow more consumers and sports enthusiasts to experience Tnuva’s GO protein products and enjoy delicious meals through Biga’s rich and diverse menu. Protein is the fastest-growing category in the dairy aisle, with a 26% annual increase from 2020 to 2023. More and more consumers are incorporating protein into their daily diets. GO products, enriched with protein, provide sports enthusiasts with innovative and exciting nutritional solutions."
