All it takes to quickly gather a group of kids or teenagers around the dining table these days is one brilliant idea: the crispiest schnitzel strips, coated in potato chip crumbs.
Note all the flavors added to the recipe—don't reveal them and don't even think about omitting them, as they are what make this schnitzel delicious.
Ingredients:
1 package of crushed potato chips
4 chicken schnitzels cut into wide strips or 500 grams of chicken fillet
1 cup of flour mixed with 1 tablespoon of paprika
For the batter:
2 eggs
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 tablespoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
Instructions:
1. Whisk the batter ingredients together.
2. Coat the chicken strips in flour and shake off the excess.
3. Dip the chicken in the batter and then roll in the crushed potato chips.
4. Fry in shallow oil on both sides until golden brown.
