Will an improper balance between fact and the cinematic fictional elements override the genuine historical narrative?

European Union foreign ministers have urged the United States to reconsider its decision not to allow Palestinian officials to take part in the UN General Assembly in New York.

Insisting on promoting ideas that history has proven do not work will never bring peace to the region.

One can rationalize the cowardice of the European position, as it is dealing with its own growing Islamist population and the demographic decline of its indigenous citizens.

This moment, for all its pain, suffering, and uncertainty, offers a narrow but strategic opportunity. But only if it is seized with clarity and courage.
