“There is a constant risk that events in the West Bank could spill over to Gaza,” UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland told the Security Council on Tuesday.
Cohen said that the government of Israel “fully condemns events in which citizens take the law into their own hands.”
The defense minister told al-Sheikh that security forces will continue to eliminate terrorist threats wherever they may be.
